There’s a famous story about a young prince who was supposed to die on his fourth day of marriage.

But his smart wife came up with a plan to save him! She lit their entire house with tons of lamps and put a big pile of gold and silver coins by the door.

When Yama the god of death, came to take the prince away, he was amazed by all the lights and the beautiful songs the wife was singing.

But Yama gets so distracted that he completely forgets about his job and stays there all night, which allows the prince to live!

This story shows us what Dhanteras is all about: using light, wealth, and good vibes to keep bad luck away.

I wish you and your family joy, good health, and prosperity this Dhanteras. Have a very happy Dhanteras and Diwali! – Divesh
